February 07, 20242 min read

Do you have a Facebook Group but are hearing crickets?

Like seriously, you are putting in the work but it’s like no one is seeing or engaging with your content.

“Bueller, Bueller” is anyone there?

First off I feel you!  I’ve been there too!

Annnddd It SUCKS!!!!!!!!

That’s why I created something cool for you, stay with me.

Ok so before you say Facebook Groups are dead, I’m going over to Tiktok or whatever the latest “Shiny Social Object is” let me give you some stats.

Facebook is the MOST used social platform worldwide.

It has 2.91 Billion active monthly users.  According to Hootsuite, “that’s a 6.2% jump from 2021’s 2.74 billion users, which was already a year-over-year growth of 12% from 2019.”

And According to Social Media Perth, Facebook is the 3rd most visited website in the world behind Google and YouTube.

Also, get this 79% of Facebook users are active for 33 minutes a day.  A lot of this “Staying Power” is due to Facebook Groups where people feel more of a sense of community than on any other platform.

Long story short, this makes you SMART for wanting to build your business on Facebook and create a community in your Facebook Group.

I am going to give a few suggestions on how to get the engagement back up in your group, sound good?

Oh and when you use these strategies you members will also start to see more of ALL your awesome stuff in your Facebook Group.

Let’s get to it then!

  1.  Welcome all new members in the group!  This tags them and reminds them to check out the group.  It will also alert other members in the group too!  “Bueller, Bueller” oh there you are!

  2. Do a poll to find out your audience's pain points.  People usually can’t resist answering a poll, and it helps you tailor future content in the group around these issues.

  3. Drop posts about Trending National Holidays.  I have a link for this in my free Engagement Post Resource here.  It’s super fun!

  4. Use Recurring themes:  Motivation Monday, Transformation Tuesday, Wellness Wednesday, etc.  This helps plan your content and gives your audience an expectation of the group cadence.

And since I know you are busy building your business I put 26 MORE ideas in my 30 Engaging Post Ideas For Facebook Groups to help you out.  There are even links to the national holiday calendar, fun games, and more!
